Neighbourhood Partners

Here are some of our local supporters.  Thanks to all of them!

The Optimist Club of Uxbridge is our Sponsor. Members of Scouting help the Optimists with their Duck Derby, Fantasy of Lights and Christmas Tree Sales. The Optimist Club assists us by providing funds to help reduce the cost of camps to all Uxbridge Scouting youth.

McDonald's Uxbridge helps us during Canada Day celebrations and Uxbridge Fall Fair, as well as numerous other Scouting Events. They also contibuted financially to help sending youth to CJ'13.  Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Canadian Tire donated duffle bags for each youth attending CJ'13 to carry troop equipment and personal gear. Their contribution made travel to and from CJ much easier.

Williamson helps us with our annual Car Wash in support of our Summer Camp at Haliburton Scout Reserve.  The team at Williamson are very supportive of our efforts and we thank them for allowing us to use their facilities for this great annual event.

Powell Contracting assists us each year with our Santa Claus Parade entry.  Powell Contracting, along with driver Bob McGuckin ensure that our parade entry is clean, safe and the pride of the parade....we've won a 1st Place award 3 years in a row!

Township of Uxbridge - We use the Williamson Boardroom at the Uxbridge Community Centre for our monthly Group Committee meetings. The Township generously allows us to use Elgin Park and the Countryside Preserve for our many Scouting activities.

The Uxbridge Fire Department is always ready to help us with our many campfires by issuing Fire Permits.  They also arrange tours for all of our Sections.

St. Andrew's-Chalmers Presbyterian Church helps us by letting our Venturers use their facilities on a weekly basis to hold meetings.

Heaman Communication Services also help us with our HSR Car Wash Fundraiser. Heather & Jeff Heaman provide all the supplies we need to run the concession stand along side our car wash. This allows us to distribute 100% of our Car Wash proceeds to the youth for summer camp. Thank you Heaman Communication Services!
