Cub Scout Program

The Scouting program focuses on 6 key areas. They are: Environment and Outdoors, Beliefs and Values, Leadership, Active and Healthy Living, Citizenship, Creative Expression.

Cub Scouts is built around a lively variety of games, crafts, music, storytelling, skits, and spiritual fellowship.  Because the outdoors is an essential part of the Cub Scout program, weekend events, hikes and overnight camping opportunities round out the Cub Scouting experience.

Outdoor Adventure Skills Badges:
Throughout the Scouting program (Beavers through Rovers), youth progress towards mastery (level 1-9)  of a variety of Outdoor Adventure Skills including Camping skills, Vertical skills, Paddling skills, Winter skills, Scoutcraft skills, Trail skills, Aquatic skills, Emergency skills, and Sailing skills.

Personal Achievement Badges:
Individual interests and skills are recognized through themed Personal Achievement Badges which are many and varied. Cub Scouts can earn badges and skills levels by participating in weekly programs as well as on their own at home. Each Cub Scout can view requirements and track their progress of the Personal Achievement Badges and Outdoor Adventure Skills using the ScoutsTracker App.
