Cub Scouts (boys and girls ages 8-10)
Cub Scouts is built around a lively variety of games, crafts, music, storytelling, play acting, spiritual fellowship and the outdoors.  The Cub Scout program focuses the following key areas:
  • The Environment and Outdoors
  • Beliefs and Values
  • Leadership
  • Active and Healthy Living
  • Citizenship
  • Creative Expression
Individual interests and skills are recognized through Personal Achievement Badges which include Air, Arts, Building, Canada, Community, Earth, Hobby, Home, Science, Space, Summer Fitness, Technology, Water, Winter Fitness, World, Year Round Fitness.

Throughout the Scouting program (Beavers through Rovers), youth work towards mastery of a variety of Outdoor Adventure Skills including:
  • Camping Skills
  • Aquatic Skills
  • Paddling Skills
  • Winter Skills
  • Emergency Skills
  • Vertical Skills
  • Trail Skills
  • Scoutcraft Skills
  • Sailing Skills
Because the outdoors is an essential part of the Cub Scout program.  Weekend events, hikes and overnight camping opportunities round out the Cub Scouting experience.
Badge Tracking
We have instituted a new badge tracking system for the pack. Each Cub can individually track their progress completing the requirements of the Personal Achievment Badges and Outdoor Adventure Skills.
